Q. I requested the records and saw a large stack, more than I allotted. I am now concerned because I never gave disability services permission to release records prior to that date. I would like to know what was contain therein those records. I was referred to get my attorney to request them, and they would not release them. I am upset. I never signed or was asked to sign for documentation to be released to the college. I never allowed or signed for permission for allowing disability services to obtain nor release records. Asked by Delightinlight - Thu Mar 13 19:56:58 2008 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments A. Whether or not you give permission, they have a right to have it unfortunately. Although, they should allow you to look at them, but they have a right to them, especially if they are providing you with some sort of service. Things like college are nationally recognzied and need to be informed properly by the government and up-to-date. Im sorry. Hope this helps. Answered by ddcapslock - Mon Mar 17 15:33:40 2008 What immunization records do i need for enrollment for college? Q. I only have the records when i was a baby, does that count? Asked by aps - Sat Aug 8 15:33:01 2009 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments A. That is up to the college. Usually they want you to have the usual childhood vaccines (especially measles) and also meningitis vaccine if you will be living in a dorm. Congratulations on having your baby shot records- a lot of people lose them and then they don't have proof of their vaccines. Yes, any official vaccination record will count. Answered by lak - Sat Aug 8 19:10:45 2009 How can i transfer the records from a miniDv tape to my computer?
Q. I now that this question has been asked before, but i didn't understand what i am supposed to do. Well, i have a JVC camera that records on miniDV, an Amilo Notebook Pi 3525 and a audio / video cable which came once with the camera. What do i need in addition to be able to download my records on the computer? And please, explain precisely what i need to do. I don't have a great experience in dealing with cameras and video transferring. Thanks. Asked by malasorte71 - Thu Jun 11 11:52:40 2009 - - 2 Answers - 0 Comments A. To import video from the miniDV tape, you need to connect a firewire cable to the DV port on JVC camcorder and the firewire port on the computer. USB won't work. And even if you did get USB streaming to magically (and accidentally) work, that would not be high quality DV-format video but very compressed video that would be very low quality. If your computer does not have a firewire port, hopefully it has an available expansion slot so you can add a card with a firewire port. Many laptops have a PCMCIA or ExpressCard slot - many do not. USB-to-firewire cable/adapter/converter/h ub things won't work. This is not an operating system issue - but a requirement for miniDV tape based camcorders and video importing high quality DV-format.
